The route climbs from the centre of Drniš up to the Drniš Gradina, from where there is a view of the upper Čikola River canyon. It then continues across the plateau, following the canyon downstream towards the village of Kaočine. From there, the route descends into the canyon all the way to the river itself, before climbing up the opposite side and passing through Pakovo Selo and Žitnić.

Just before the final descent back into Drniš, the route passes by the Moseć viewpoint, which offers a beautiful panorama of the town, the Čikola Canyon, Promina, and Petrovo Polje.

WARNINGS:

  • The route passes through the Čikola protected area.
  • The route runs very close to minefields near the hamlets of Kašići and Kerić.
  • The route partially follows the DC33 road (section Žitnić – Drniš).
