Cycling tours

Experience the freedom and beauty of the Drniš region as you cycle along its most scenic trails.

Riding through the river valleys of Čikola and Krka

Gentle routes along the rivers are ideal for visitors who want a relaxed pace, natural scenery and a sense of closeness to the local landscape. Riding beside the water offers a calm yet impressive experience.

The river valleys of Čikola and Krka offer some of the most accessible and enjoyable rides for visitors who wish to explore without rushing. The routes follow the rivers and pass through fields, cliffs and old stone houses, creating an experience that is both peaceful and picturesque. This is where cyclists most easily feel the natural rhythm of Drniš: the scent of local vegetation, the sound of the river and views of a landscape that changes every few minutes. It is perfect for families, recreational cyclists and anyone who wants to spend a day outdoors without demanding climbs. Riding along the rivers provides an ideal introduction to the various terrains in the area, and many visitors realise right here just how special Drniš is for cycling.

Mount Promina: a challenge for adventurers

Promina is the right choice for those seeking a mountain challenge, technical sections and beautiful panoramic views. The ride to the top and the descent down the mountain leave a strong impression on every cyclist.

The ascent to Promina offers a completely different experience — this is terrain intended for cyclists with good fitness and technical skills. The trail leading to the mountain lodge passes through forested areas, open slopes and rocky sections, and each part reveals a new view of the Dalmatian hinterland. At the top, wide panoramas open up, rewarding every effort made along the way, while the descent back toward Drniš offers pure adrenaline for those who enjoy mountain routes. Promina is ideal for visitors who want a combination of sport, nature and a sense of achievement — a route that stays in memory and clearly showcases the diversity of the Drniš landscape.

Panoramic routes of Krka National Park

Krka National Park offers hundreds of kilometres of trails that lead through waterfalls, canyons, forests and protected landscapes. Cyclists can choose between easy, intermediate and demanding routes.

Drniš is one of the best starting points for exploring the cycling trails of Krka National Park, which offers a network of almost 400 kilometres of marked routes. Riding through the park allows visitors to encounter exceptional natural scenery — from views of waterfalls to passes through canyon areas and dense forest paths. Cyclists of all skill levels can easily find a trail that suits them, as the park offers gentle family rides, scenic roads and challenging mountain sections. Signposts and information boards allow for independent exploration without losing orientation. These routes are especially appreciated by international visitors who seek an authentic nature experience away from the most crowded tourist spots.

E-bike Drniš: effortless freedom to explore

Electric, classic and mountain bikes enable easy exploration of the Drniš landscape. The system is simple, accessible and suitable for all visitors.

As part of the Natura Drniš project, the public bicycle system has been expanded, and visitors now have 8 classic, 8 mountain and 8 electric bicycles at their disposal. E-bike models are particularly attractive because they make longer and hillier routes easier, giving guests the opportunity to explore more areas in a single day without significant effort. The system is easy to use and designed for tourists who want freedom of movement but not physically demanding climbs. This combination of practicality and nature makes Drniš an ideal place for a cycling adventure without limitations.
